12 days Kenya and Uganda Tour
Day One: Arrival
meet and transfer to the hotel Boulevard. Relax. FB
Day Two:
Nairobi city tour Pick up from the hotel for the Nairobi museum and proceed to the Daphne sheldrick elephant orphanage. I would suggest lunch at the carnivore restaurant. Afternoon visit to the giraffe centre followed by the Bomas of Kenya. They may go to their hotel to freshen up and later dinner at Safari park Hotel. FB
Day Three: Transfer to Naivasha Depart for Naivasha
. Boat ride is scheduled for mid morning to Crescent Island and then proceed to hells gate after lunch. Overnight at Crater Lake Camp FB
Day four: Naivasha / Transfer To Lake Nakuru.
Visit an orphanage in Naivasha and continue on to the lake Nakuru. Visit a black and white rhino’s sanctuary. Overnight at Water buch hotel FB
Day Five: Lake Nakuru/ Masai Mara
Leave Lake Nakuru for the Masai Mara game reserve. Afternoon game drive. Overnight at Masai Mara.
Day Six: Masai Mara.
Whole day in Maasai Mara. Visit some of the Masai village. Overnight in Masai Mara
Day Seven: Return to Nairobi
Early in the morning after breakfast you will transfer to Nairobi to reach in the afternoon. You will drive direct to the airport for your flight to Entebbe Uganda. On Arrival at the airport in Uganda you will be met by the Uganda Guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala. Overnight in Sheraton Hotel.
Day Eight: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
In the morning right after breakfast you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP. The drive will take you 6 hours to reach the park in the afternoon. You will check in your lodge to have lunch and then late r go for a boat ride on the Kazinga channel. The launch cruise will enable you view animals like the buffaloes at the shores, hippos and plenty of birds for birders. Overnight at Mweya safari lodge
Day Nine: Game drives/ Transfer to Bwindi
In the morning before sunrise you will go for a game drive in the park searching for animals like the elephants Lions, leopards, hyenas, warthogs, antelopes and many more. You will return form the game drive f or late breakfast at your lodge before you drive to Bwindi. Time permitting you may go for a game drive in the Ishasha sector to search for tree climbing lions. Later on you will proceed to reach Bwindi in the afternoon. Overnight at Gorilla resort lodge/ Buhoma community bandas.
Day 10: Gorilla tracking
In the morning after breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before you proceed to the bwindi national park in search for the giant apes. The time taken before encountering the gorillas varies and it ranges from 2 hours to 9 hours. Therefore you will have to carry packed lunch. On meeting the gorillas you will be allowed to spend one hour with them and then later return to your lodge. Overnight at Gorilla resort lodge/ Buhoma community bandas.
Day 11: Transfer to Kampala
In the morning after breakfast you will transfer to Kampala. The drive takes 9-12 hours depending on the weather, to reach in the evening. You will be transferred to your Hotel. Overnight at Sheraton hotel /Holiday express hotel.
Day 12: Departure
Depending on your flight departure time you may go for a city tour to go visit the National museum, the Bahai temple and the Kasubi tombs for an insight in the Ugandan culture. Later on you will be transferred to the Airport for you flight back home.
